Since I was in high school I loved photography. However, it wasn’t until 25 years later that I was able to finally start exploring photography. On September 11, 2001, with that grim reminder of how brief our lives truly are, I purchased my first SLR camera. That evening I went to the lake and shot my first rolls of film with my new Canon. During this quiet evening I found the therapeutic nature of photography. I also shot one of my all-time favorite images. I am now on my third SLR and have gone totally digital, but I still love shooting.
